According to a Tweet from Warwick Davis, today is officially the last day of shooting ever for the Harry Potter films. Of course, it's far from "the end of all things" for the main actors, who'll have press junkets and other assorted duties over the next year. And some of them will even be in Orlando next week for a sneak peek at the theme park.

YAY for the news that Eduardo Serra will be the cinematographer on Deathly Hallows. In addition to Defiance and Blood Diamond, credits which, while impressive, didn't rouse my interest much, he was also the DP on the magnificent Girl With a Pearl Earring and Wings of the Dove, both of which earned him Oscar nominations, ( Read more... )
